Position Details
Role: Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time
Salary: Competitive and based on experience
Schedule: 4-day work week (10-hour shifts) with alternating Saturdays, 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

What Our Veterinary Assistants Do
- Safely restrain patients during examinations and treatments using best practices
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatment plans
- Ensure hospitalized and boarding patients have clean, comfortable accommodations
- Prepare medications accurately and efficiently
- Update patient records and treatment notes in the medical record system
- Answer phones and assist with client communication
- Communicate with clients regarding their pet's care and treatment plans
- Support daily hospital operations and maintain a clean, organized work environment
What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience preferred
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning and using new software and technology
- Positive attitude and desire to become part of a supportive work family
