• Status: Full-time
• Salary: From $22 per hour
• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts. Rotating Saturdays

Main West Animal Hospital, a progressive and successful practice in Welland, is adding an RVT to the team. New and experienced RVTs are welcome to apply for this exciting opportunity. This position allows you to use your skills to the fullest potential! The right candidate will have a highly positive attitude and great communication skills. A good sense of humor is definitely a plus, as is the desire to work in a close-knit team environment.

What You’ll Contribute

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
• Emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and intubation
• Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
