Welland Vet Skiing in Niagara

Well folks, the snow is finally here… I’m not sure it’s here to stay but we’ll see.

Welland and Port Colborne received a significant snow fall this weekend making for some excellent conditions for winter sports.

Our very own veterinarian Dr. Nicole Denouden took advantage of the opportunity to get some exercise with her “boys” cross country skiing.  Skiing is not only a great way to get outside in the winter time it provides an excellent activity to do with your dogs.  There’s also snowshoeing, hiking, and  tobogganing as great activities for your dog to participate in.

Take the chance to enjoy the snow and many trails Niagara Region has to offer the next few weeks.  It may be cold, but at least there aren’t any mosquitoes or ticks to bite you or your dog!!!
